My school is having a Talent Show!

Now that I look back at all my posts I realized its been WAY too long since I've posted about school.Well basically now my school is having a Talent Show!Our school is kinda different because if your singing for your talent then you have to do three songs.No more,No less.I thought that was odd but oh well.Try outs were today so I tried out for singing.The songs I sang are Got Dynamite by Demi Lovato,A Place in This World by Taylor Swift and Solo by Demi Lovato.But Ivy tried out too.She sang Paparazzi by Lady GaGa,Permanent Marker by Taylor Swift and Falling Down by Selena Gomez.I'm really nervous because Ivy's act was impressive!She had back up dancers that were supposed to be the paparazzi.They were snapping pictures and saying things like "come on Ivy just one picture!" while she was singing.On the song permanent marker there was a girl and a boy that were acting out the meaning of the lyrics.On Falling Down all she was doing was dancing with her back up dancers.Basically for my acts I didn't use a CD and a CD player.I had a real life band.It was my band of all my friends.There was a Guitar player,a violin for any country song we want to play, drums,keyboard and bass.There are also some other instruments that I don't feel like naming.All I was doing was singing and doing things like dancing and bobbing my head.But the person in charge of try outs,Mrs.Frost,seemed to like my performances better then Ivy's.They actually posted the results quite fast.This is what they said:

but my heart sank when I read this:

Ivy:Well look who took some singing lessons!
Me:Ivy stop that.
Ivy:Or what?There's nothing you can do to me.
Me:Ivy me and my band have been rehearsing for months.Since the Talent Show was announced.
Ivy:If you can sing so good then sing to me right now.
Me:Fine!If that's what you want then I will.
Ivy:Then start!
Me:Alright!

Then Ivy just went home since this was at the end of the day.The day of the Talent show is April 29,2010.I hope I do well there's so much pressure on me.
